Newborn Care

From the first moments of life through the early postpartum period, your baby’s healthy transition to life outside the womb is supported with gentle, attentive care.

Newborn care includes:

  • Immediate assessment of your baby at birth while supporting uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact

  • Monitoring of breathing, heart rate, temperature, and overall newborn adaptation

  • Honoring the Golden Hour and delayed cord clamping

  • Breastfeeding support and guidance

  • Administration of newborn procedures & screening tests, as desired
